We are always happy to consider contributions that fit Maritime Journal’s broad remit, i.e. covering port, harbour, coastal and nearshore commercial marine activity in Europe
For Maritime Journal, the emphasis is squarely on workboats, with over half the distribution going to workboat owners/operators, builders and repairers. The readership also includes many port and harbour authority management people, from Harbour Masters to port hydrographers. This close link is emphasised by MJ being a sponsoring member of the International Harbour Masters Association (IHMA) and an honorary industrial member of the UK Harbour Masters Association (UKHMA). See our features schedule for a list of topics planned for our printed publication.
If articles are not of interest to Maritime Journal, we may forward them to our sister publications, e.g. The Motorship (deep-sea merchant shipsl), Port Strategy (ports and terminals) or Boating Business (recreational marine).
