From our audience:
“Thank you for another year of top-class reporting and presentation – Still the No1 Maritime Magazine for trade and Commerce.” “Once again congratulations on producing such a top quality maritime magazine which is both technical, and of practical use to mariners worldwide.”
Martin Jackson, Marine & Industrial Transmissions Ltd
"MJ is always a useful resource for industry information, and I regularly visit the site and read the hard publication to keep up to speed with the industry's news. Without MJ, news would be very scarce indeed." Steve Gordon, Cert CII, Marine Development Manager, Arnott Marine & INK Marine
“Excellent coverage of matters and events of topical interest with well-written articles, allowing more in-depth research subsequently”
“MJ is informative to our business interests. Though catering more to European clientele it has helped to promote Regular Ship Services within that region.”
From our advertisers:
'Maritime Journal Magazine, Website and E-News has given us the opportunity to ensure targeted exposure of our products and development over the European market. Baltic Workboats is a fairly young, fast growing company and advertising with Maritime Journal has increased our visibility within the market, whilst providing a service that continues to deliver excellent results.’
Jüri Taal, Baltic Workboats AS
'The team at Maritime Journal are always there to support us, they understand that in today’s competitive marketplace, we need advertising solutions that fit our audience and reach out directly to them. They’re also great at helping us maximise our presence within their portfolio.’
Vegar Pettersen, Simrad
Thank you so much for your prompt and professional support in advertising for our recent vacancy of Coxswain Mechanic. I am delighted to say that we had over 30 applications, many of them coming through seeing our ad placed with yourselves. The quality of application was high and we have indeed appointed someone with, what we consider to be the right experience.
Ann Laing, Maritime Rescue Institute
In 2010, the Port of London Authority (PLA) advertised one of its Nelson 44 patrol launches in Maritime Journal, following the introduction into service of the first of two catamaran patrol launches. Strong enquiries were received from the MJ advertisement and the WESTBOURNE was successfully sold. However, such was the effectiveness of the advertising, another ex-PLA vessel has found proud new owners and port service in Scotland. Enquiries continue to be received for other vessels that are being replaced through the PLA's fleet update programme. This success just goes to prove the effectiveness of good advertising - thank you MJ!
Alan Cartwright, PLA Marine Engineer Port of London Authority
The Maritime Journal online ads have been so effective for us that we have reduced most of our other marketing, concentrating on a service that continues to deliver good results.
