Port Security comes to London

Post-11 September, port security has risen to the top of the agenda for many involved with port and harbour operations. Billions of pounds are being invested in new technologies, upgrading infrastructure and implementing new security procedures to ensure that passengers, staff, freight and craft are secure.
In response to this wave of activity surrounding transport security, a new event has been launched called 'Airport, Port and Terminal Security (APTS) 2002. The event will comprise a trade exhibition which will showcase the latest in technology and products while a strategic conference will inform those concerned with port security.
