UKHO Introduces Searchable Notices to Mariners

The UKHO has enhanced the Admiralty Notices to Mariners On-Line (ANMO) service by providing a new search facility. Direct access is via
The nmwebsearch functionality provides quick and easy access to chart and publication update listings, NM chart and publication text updates, NM full colour blocks, diagrams and note updates and temporary and preliminary NMs updates.
The new service is the result of collaboration between UKHO and ChartCo, who won the contract to provide database management for the Searchable NM Project.
The digital form of Admiralty Notices to Mariners is accepted by the MCA as compliant with carriage requirements for Notices to Mariners under Regulation 20 of SOLAS and the Merchant Shipping Regulations 1998.
The UKHO will be seeking similar endorsements from other Flag State and Port State Controllers over the coming months.
