Millennium has taken delivery of one of the new LTM 1045/1 mobile cranes launched into the UK market earlier this year.

The LTM 1045/1 is a 50 tonnes rated three axle crane supplied to Millennium Lifting with a 16m swing away fly-jib which is offsettable to 40º. At maximum radius of 42m it can lift 0.60 tonnes and, with fly attached, has a maximum tip height of 50m. The four section oviform main boom is 34m in length and features a three stage hydromechanic telescoping system which can be telescoped under partial load.

Liebherr's own LICCON safe load indication system, CANbus and LSB (Liebherr System Bus) provide control and monitoring of all lifting functions, electrical and electronic components.

Power is supplied by a single Liebherr-made D 926 TI-E engine developing 270kW at 2,100rpm. The crane weighs 34 tonnes and has a maximum road speed of 75 km/h.
