'The World' Lifted by Dreggen

Munck Cranes AS has recently bought a majority shareholding in Dreggen Cranes AS, which is located with offices and production facilities by the seaside in Bergen, on the west coast of Norway. Nonetheless, Dreggen will continue as an independent company delivering a complete range of cranes and lifting equipment for ships.
Dreggen's recent deliveries include two hydraulic deck cranes for the recently commissioned The World luxury cruise ship which was built at the Fosen Yard in Norway.
With capacities of 1.75 tonnes at 8.5m, these cranes are placed on either side of the ship for bringing provisions and spares on board.
Dreggen has also supplied engine room cranes to all ferries built by Fosen over the last five years.
