Commercial Marine Finance Makes seawork a Port of Call
01 Apr 2003
Bank of Scotland Marine Finance, which is well established in the UK as a leisure marine finance provider, has expanded its activities to support commercial marine companies looking for asset funding. Paul Ratcliffe, who was appointed Asset Finance Manager - Marine last December, will be visiting seawork2003.
Paul's role was initially created to provide leisure marine businesses with advice and funding for the purchase of capital asset items such as vehicles, plant and machinery. In his newly expanded capacity, he has already taken the Bank of Scotland into new territory by funding a tugboat in Southampton. He has also organised substantial funding for a boat hoist and recently supervised Bank of Scotland funding for new marina pontoons at Whitehaven.
Paul Ratcliffe has over 15 years experience in marine finance following an initial career in the Merchant Navy, where he held the position of Second Officer with Bibby Line in Liverpool.
