Wartsila Extends Ciserv Network

Wartsila Corporation has purchased the Dutch marine service company Caltax Marine Diesel BV from Tras van Houte Beheer BV.
The acquisition strengthens Wartsila's expertise and technical capabilities in two-stroke engines and boosts Wartsila's growth potential in this sector in Northern Europe. Caltax Marine Diesel specialises in the servicing and reconditioning of two stroke marine engine components.
The purchase also includes a workshop. Caltax will become part of the Ciserv group and be renamed Ciserv Netherlands BV.
