First ROV Parametric Sounder

Work on what is claimed to be the first parametric echo sounder capable of deployment on ROV's down to 2000m is now being carried out by Aquadyne AS of Asker, Norway in association with DeepOcean of Haugesund, a major supplier of offshore survey and inspection services to Statoil and Norsk Hydro .
