Coastal Study Wins ICE Student of the Year Award

Twelve of Britain's most inventive and technologically brilliant first degree university students were honoured in London recently at the Science, Engineering and Technology Student of the Year Awards . The multi-disciplinary awards, organised by the London based World Leadership Forum , are backed by many of the country's leading scientific and technical bodies.
Winning the Institution of Civil Engineers Award for Best Civil Engineering Student of 2003 was Oliver Latham of Plymouth University for his study of wave impact forces on steep fronted coastal structures.
