    Pakistan Pollution Detention Prompts ISU Ire

    The International Salvage Union has deplored the decision of a Pakistani Court to detain the Salvage Master involved in the recent Tasman Spirit salvage operation after the tanker had grounded at Karachi Port.

    Finland based oil spill clean-up equipment manufacturer Lamor Corporation continues its global expansion with the establishment of a subsidiary in the United States. The office is the result of collaboration with Lamor 's former US distributor, Hyde Marine Inc , and is expected to grow into a production facility, shortening delivery times across the Atlantic. 

    MEPs Back Ship Pollution Criminal Sanctions

    The Transport Committee of the European Parliament has welcomed Commission proposals earlier this month designed to lead to criminal sanctions for ships that cause pollution at sea.
