    'Pallieter' No Palliative for van der Giessen

    The last dredger to be built at IHC's now doomed van der Giessen-de Noord shipyard was launched last month in Rotterdam. The 5,400m 3capacity trailing suction hopper dredger Pallieter was built for the Belgian contractor Dredging, Environmental and Marine Engineering NV (DEME). 

    De Groot Delivers Complete Dredging Equipment Package

    De Groot Nijkerk Dredging equipment and Damen Shipyards have sold a North African customer a complete dredging package which includes a type CZ550 cutter suction dredger, a booster station, a floating pipeline and a Damen Multicat. The second complete package sold to the same customer, it will be used for cleaning and deepening artificial lakes used for drinking water storage as well as sand winning.
