The Gyro Compass Standard 22 has been designed with a Rate of Turn (RoT) signal output which meets IMO requirements for RoT information and also provides the AIS with RoT data. The redundant CAN open bus system allows the Standard 22 to be easily integrated into a system. It is compatible with all Anschutz gyro compasses and steering systems and complies with the latest international approval requirements.

Also new is the GPS Compass Standard 21, an economical, multi-functional sensor for ships below 300 grt not subject to SOLAS equipment regulations. It provides all reference receivers such as repeaters, radars, autopilots, ECDIS and AIS with information on course, speed, position, roll and pitch. In case the GPS antenna is temporarily covered, a 'strap down calculation' supplies the required course information based on modern RoT sensors.

With its new radar series Raytheon NSC, Raytheon Marine claims to be the first manufacturer to introduce high performance systems based on high integrated computer technology. The Raytheon NSC 18 Radar is an X-Band system with a transmitting power of 10kW in combination with a 6in array antenna and has been designed for ships up to 1,000grt. The NSC 18 Radar, the GPS Compass Standard 21, and the Autopilot NP 60 complement each other to make up a professional 'plug and play' package for small ship navigation.

Perhaps Raytheon Marine's biggest crowd puller at Europort 2003 will be a complete Integrated Bridge System, enabling visitors to watch its functions live on the stand together with a projected sea and harbour area. The integrated bridge concept for the One Man Bridge was developed in close cooperation with classification societies, ship owners, and shipyards, resulting in placement on board more than 250 ships to date.
