OCS Goes Boom

Oil Control Systems of the Netherlands has received an order from SMIT Salvage for the delivery of 400m of Ro-Boom 1100 Oilboom.
The order contains four hydraulic operated reels, each including a 100m oilboom, fitted in special fabricated galvanised frames which can be stowed in planes and/ or on deck.
Each reel is also equipped with a 5.2 KW diesel powered powerpack which incorporates a high capacity blower and a possibility for skimmer operation.
