The company has just received a contract for the delivery of an engineering and components package for a self-propelled CSD500S for an Iranian customer who will assemble the vessel.

Completion is scheduled for next year and the owner will use the vessel for deepening the basin and maintenance work in the Persian Gulf port of Chabahar.

Meanwhile, VOSTA LMG has delivered a CSD500S to the SADRA Industrial and Marine Group, a project executed in partnership with SADRA's Iranian shipyard at Neka.

VOSTA LMG has done the basic engineering and delivered dredging systems such as the electrical, hydraulic and diesel installations and components including the cutterhead, cutter ladder, spud carrier and dredge pump. Partner shipyard SADRA has assembled the dredger under the supervision of a VOSTA LMG project manager on site. VOSTA LMG also commissioned the vessel and provided training for the crew.

The dismountable dredger is equipped with a VOSTA SC10 cutter system, has on board accommodation for four crew and will perform maintenance dredging at the Caspian Sea ports of Anzali and Noshahr.

The vessel has now been handed over to its owner, the Iranian port authority (PSO) and named Shahid Rashidi .
