New products are always on show at seawork , witness the record 53 entries to the Innovations Showcase this year, and one so new it was still in prototype form appeared in the seawork press office in the hands of its developer, Marine Rescue Technologies chairman David Marshall.

Record numbers of visitors attended seawork2004 , including those from the USA, Australasia, the Middle East, North Africa and Europe. This, despite abnormal gale force winds and rain, served as testament to the solid and ever ascending stature of both the commercial marine exhibition and its concurrent conference.

Ali-it Surveys seawork Success

seawork2004 proved another successful show for Pembrokeshire based aluminium boatbuilders Ali-itmarine Ltd . The company's spectacular Shockwave thrill ride boat was a hot ticket for regular outings from the seawork floating pontoon while on the new business side, Ali-it took orders for another two 14.5m shaft driven catamarans for UK customers and a 21m long, 120 passenger ferry for an operator in Ireland.
