Force Dredging Systems (FDS) has recently completed a successful hire contract in the Caspian Sea which involved clearing drill mud cuttings and debris away from the base of a production jacket and placing them in a specified dumpsite some 60m to 80m away. Once FDS' Superstream Dredging System had cleared the cuttings and debris, it was quickly reconfigured on site to undertake seabed trenching for a new riser installation.
Nearshore Project for New Pipe Tracker

The ShengLi Oilfield has purchased two advanced TSS440 pipe trackers for use with its new pipelay plough. The two pipe trackers have been supplied by UK company VT TSS Ltd and fitted to the front and rear of the tracked plough. Designed and built by ShengLi Oilfield engineers, the plough is capable of burying pipe up to 90cm in diameter at depths to 2m and is being used to support construction and survey activities in offshore China.

Seeing what at first appears to be a modern sport fisherman with an Effer knuckle boom crane mounted to port amidships makes the viewer wonder how big a fish the crew is after. However, appearances can be deceiving and Falmouth UK based Bay Marine 's 37' vessel Redeemer is in fact a thoughtfully developed multi-purpose workboat which is proving itself with the local commercial marine community.
