UMC Goes Into Hull Cleaning

UMC International Plc have decided to launch a range of hull cleaning equipment based on the huge global interest shown in their Mini Pamper hull cleaning machine, which features technology adapted to underwater cleaning. Its advanced cleaning mechanism has scrub pressure control, allowing the diver to ensure only the required amount of pressure is used based on the marine fouling encountered and the type of paint.

In support of Mini Pamper, UMC have made available their full range of hull cleaning equipment and associated supportive spares.

This includes a smaller twin brush cleaning machine, a single brush hand cleaning machine, propeller polishing tools together with various brushes and polishing pads.

UMC are also marketing a new underwater cutting tool, an adaptation of an air plasma arc cutting system which requires no consumables. The system can save time on site due to its fast and accurate cutting, with further savings for contractor and client alike due to expensive consumables not being required.
