    Safe Switches for Ministry of Defence Lift Systems

    Man-machine safety systems specialist Schmersal UK Ltd has won an order to supply a total of 150 of its AZM415 double solenoid locking switches to Industrial & Marine Lift Services (IMLS) for the refurbishment of double gated lifting systems for two UK Ministry of Defence supply ships. The order is to be completed in four stages, the first of which has already seen Schmersal supply 36 units.

    Automated Stackers Lift ECT's Ambitions

    Rotterdam's European Container Terminal (ECT) is continuing the expansion of its Delta Container Terminal with fully automated stacking equipment developed together with Kalmar . An agreement was signed recently for the turnkey supply of six automated stacking cranes (ASCs), with an option to increase the order to a total of 18 cranes.
