Swift Service for Fleet

The usual arrangement whereby marine electronics is serviced by the company which sold and installed the equipment is often not an efficient one for vessels sailing internationally. Users of the Thrane & Thrane Capsat Fleet 77, 55 and 33 terminals are now guaranteed worldwide service via the Fleet Service Centre network, consisting of strategically located and specially trained and equipped marine electronic service companies.

The arrival of Fleet 55 and 33 terminals have brought real-time communication services to operators of smaller vessels.

The Fleet Service Centres will deliver prompt service with high probability of 'first time fix' to all Capsat Fleet users, independent of who sold and installed the system. This will be achieved by the Centres having a sufficient inventory of spare parts on site as well as certified service engineers who are specially trained in the Capsat Fleet systems.

Capsat Fleet systems are sold in a number of OEM variants which would traditionally be serviced by the OEM. With the new Fleet Service Centre network, all variants are supported by the same service network, with the Centres also authorised to perform warranty repairs. The Fleet Service Centres are independent service companies trained and equipped by Thrane & Thrane to deliver services compliant with the company's ISO 9001 certification.
