VOSTA LMG Flourishing in the East

Amsterdam based dredger builder and dredging components supplier VOSTA LMG has won an 'Engineering and Components' contract for a packaged CSD500 cutter suction dredger from a partner in Malaysia. The contract includes the design of the dredger, critical components such as the dredge pump, cutter head and ladder, operator cabin, on site project management and maintenance.

The dismountable dredger will be equipped with a high performance and wear resistant VOSTA LMG HPD500 dredge pump and a cutter based on the proven TSC04 cutter teeth system. The 38m LOA vessel will be used mainly for maintenance dredging of Malaysia's rivers, deltas and harbours, working to depths of 15m and discharging through a 500 mm diameter pipe.
