SeaZone Free Seminars

SeaZone Solutions , the joint Metoc-UK Hydrographic Office marine data solutions provider of worldwide geographic information, is holding a series of free morning seminars on its activities and proposed developments.

They will provide plenty of opportunity for audience participation and prospective customers will be able to discuss their specific requirements directly with SeaZone staff and users, says the organisation's Director, Mike Osborne.

A UKHO representative will also present updates on latest developments in hydrospatial data and the interoperability of land and marine-based data in coastal zones while delegates will be able to learn more about the content and structure of various SeaZone data layers and how they can be used in GIS; display and manipulation of tidal stream and other time-dependent data in GIS will also be featured.

The seminars are in Bristol (19 October), Liverpool (9 November), Peterborough (11 November) and Stirling (16 November). Further details are available via SeaZone's website (www.SeaZone. com).
