Seawork Debut for ECO Dredging

Making its Seawork debut this year will be the Netherlands' VIS Group , which includes Isle of Wight UK based small scale dredging specialists ECO Dredging Ltd .ECO Dredging will be a familiar name to many MJ readers, as for years the company has been dredging small rivers and canals, marinas, fishing ports, inland waterways, lakes and ponds for both domestic and international clients.
The company specialises in the careful clearance of water areas which require dredging whilst maintaining a careful balance with the environment being treated.
By utilising traditional dredging technology and advanced electronic systems, ECO can recreate the conditions needed for aquatic vegetation and marine life to thrive, thus playing an important role in works such as wetlands restoration.
ECO Dredging operates a series of highly adaptable cutter suction dredgers with discharge pipe diameters ranging from 6 to 12 inches. These small units work effectively in water depths of from 40cm to 35m and are all easily transportable by road.
