Chinese Oceangoing Tug to Have MAN B&W Machinery

MAN B&W Diesel A/S , Denmark has been awarded the contract to supply a complete twin-screw low-speed two-stroke propulsion package for an 16,100bhp Chinese 'super-tug'. The new vessel is under construction at the Wuchang Shipyard , Wuhan, China for the Shanghai Salvage Co Ltd , owners of a large fleet of tugs of all types. 

Norwegian Multi-role Coastguard Vessel 'Harstad'

One of the most recent Emergency Towing Vessel (ETV) deliveries, built for use in Europe is the multi-role Coastguard vessel K/V Harstad , owned by Remoy Shipping andoperated on long term charter to Kystvakten - the Norwegian Coastguard.
