Contract to Monitor Poole Dredging Operations

Poole Harbour Commissioners in Dorset UK has awarded Partrac Ltd a contract to continuously monitor dredging operations in Poole harbour over a five month period which commenced in November. 

Waterways Link Gets Outline Planning Permission

Outline planning permission has been approved for the first phase of a multi-million pound project that could ultimately see a new navigable waterway established, wich will link several cathedral cities in the UK and create hundreds of moorings for recreational craft. 

IWA Provides Funds for Hydraulics Research Project

The Inland Waterways Association (IWA) in the UK has offered a grant of £10,000 to British Waterways, towards the cost of a hydraulics research project on the effects of boats moving in confined channels.
