CEDA Dredging Days will take place at the Ahoy on the 3 and 4 November. With the theme 'Dredging: The Extremes', the conference will examine how the industry responds to extreme requirements, whether physical or regulatory, and how it produces extraordinary results in creating new land, valuable habitats, or dredged depths which enable ports to accommodate ever larger ships.

Society continuously challenges the dredging industry, forcing it to make advances in accuracy, environmental safety, cost effectiveness, and the durability of plant and processes under severe weather and sea state conditions. Response to these challenges has brought a wealth of novel solutions, progressive improvements and innovative developments of specialised dredging equipment and techniques.

There is thus a ready supply of inspiration for prospective authors, who are invited to submit titles and abstracts (300 words maximum) of their papers by 1 February 2005.
