IHO Draft Manual

The International Hydrographic Organisation in Monaco, which represents the interests of 75 member states, has published the final draft of its proposed IHO Manual on Hydrography and now invites public comment.
The outcome of a four-year deliberation by hydrographers of several member states, it comprises over 500 pages and seven main chapters: Principles of Hydrography;
Positioning; Depth Determination;
Seafloor Classification & Feature Detection; Water Levels & Flow; Topographic Surveying;
Hydrographic Practice.
