Barrus Power Proliferation on

Marine engine supplier E PBarrus returns to its familiar quayside location for Seawork 2005 with the new range of Shire workboat engines and John Deere engines from 50hp to 562hp plus representative ranges from Yanmar and MerCruiser .

The full range of Mariner engines from 2.5hp to 250hp two strokes, 4hp to 115hp four strokes, up to the high performance OptiMax V6s will also be on display.

Barrus will also be showing a range of custom built engines, including outboard motors modified for military and commercial use. Barrus has also designed a patented range of accessories including diesel powered pumps currently in service with both the RNLI and HM Coastguard, stackable fuel tanks, engine transit frames, diver protective prop guards, and jet drives for outboards.

Barrus' capability to meet the stringent design and development requirements of the RNLI, UK Ministry of Defence, and other commercial users is reflected in its achievement and maintenance of the ISO 9001-2000 quality standard.
