An Ultra Short BaseLine (USBL) system, Easytrak's single transducer is designed for simple and rapid deployment either over the side of a vessel or via a gatevalve or moonpool. The company adds that with a number of transponder options as well as available software upgrades, the versatile system enables users to readily configure it to match their own requirements. It is one of two advanced USBL tracking systems designed and manufactured by AAE, variants of which have also recently been used by diving companies operating in the Mediterranean.
