Seatools in Demand

Netherland based Seatools BV has won an order for two real-time dredging monitoring systems from their DredgeMate line of products.

One DipMate system will be supplied to Heron Construction Company in New Zealand. This system will be fitted to work with a Liebherr 994 backhoe crane and includes a remote monitoring kit to support overseas operations. The second DipMate system will be supplied to Shipyard de Donge in the Netherlands, to work with a Liebherr 994B backhoe crane which will be mounted on a barge the yard is building.

Seatools has just delivered a complete DipMate system to Belgian dredging giant Jan de Nul, which will be used on their dipper dredger II Principe .The system is installed on a Liebherr 995 backhoe crane and is currently working in the Spanish city of Valencia.

The DredgeMate family of products, which includes DipMate, CutterMate, HopperMate and CraneMate, are sophisticated information and registration packages configurable to any dredger. Based on combining standard modules and sensors in client-specific settings, the systems function as stand-alones or can be integrated with other systems.
