    Straddle Carrier Refurbishment at Tilbury

    UK terminal operator Tilbury Container Services (TCS) has awarded Kalmar a major contract for the refurbishment of 13 straddle carriers. The project comes on top of an existing contract whereby Kalmar is carrying out routine servicing of the entire TCS straddle carrier fleet. TCS currently operates 39 straddles at its Tilbury terminal, a mix of Kalmar and other brands. 

    Houlder Holds Key to RIB Davits

    The independent marine design, engineering and naval architecture firm Houlder Limited has won a contract from the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) to supply 26 new RIB handling davits to be fitted on board 13 Type 23 frigates in the Royal Navy fleet.
