Shark Jaws Take Big Bite for Norwegian Company's Order Book

Triplex AS of Norway has won a major order from Aker Yards to supply anchor handling equipment for eight new AHTVs being built for AP Moller - Maersk AS in Denmark. This will be the biggest order for Triplex Shark Jaws equipment in the company's history.
Each ship set will consist of two Triplex Shark Jaws model H-700, two sets of Triplex guide pins (S-200) and one set of Triplex stop pins (SP-60).
Also included will be separate electro-hydraulic power pack systems, separate control panels for bridge and deck installation, and an automatic lubrication system.
Delivery will take place quarterly, starting in the third quarter of 2007 and running through 2009. The new order, together with several other individual orders recently received, has resulted in a historically high reserve of orders for the company.
