    Dredging's 'Big Four' Remain in Running for Maasvlakte 2

    The Port of Rotterdam says the Ballast Nedam - Per Aarsleff consortium has withdrawn from the tendering process for the construction of Maasvlakte 2.

    The International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) reports that the Construction Industry Research Association (CIRIA) in the UK has recently published new cost standards for dredging equipment. The publication is for use by all stakeholders in dredging projects, including consultants, existing and potential clients, insurers and project financiers. 

    Dean and Dyball to Develop Woolston Riverside

    Another milestone in the transformation of the Woolston Riverside site in Southampton in the UK was reached last month with the announcement that the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) has chosen Dean and Dyball Developments as its preferred commercial development partner for the site. 

    Weaver Navigation Dredged to Help Boaters and Wildlife

    British Waterways is reportedly investing £450,000 in a major dredging programme along the Weaver Navigation in Cheshire, removing silt that can obstruct boating.
