V.Ships Buys UMC

Southampton UK based underwater engineering company UMC International has been purchased by marine services provider V.Ships. UMC has diving teams servicing both the commercial marine and military sectors out of bases in Plymouth, Rotterdam, Dubai and Fujairah. UMC will retain its name and existing management. The new owners expect their existing client base to fuel UMC's expansion as well as synergies with other units of V.Ships' marine services division.
