The European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) Policy Conference on the theme Large Scale Integration of Wind Energy will takes place in Brussels on 7 and 8 November 2006. Wind energy currently provides less than 3% of European gross electricity demand but is capable of delivering 12% by 2020.
