Second PCA Contract for De Nul

Belgian dredging company Jan de Nul has announced that on October 24th the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) awarded a one year contract to a subsidiary of Jan De Nul Group for the excavation of rock alongside the Gaillard Cut.

Jan De Nul will mobilize the backhoe dredger II Principe at the beginning of 2007 for a 12 month period, with options of two additional periods 12 months each. The backhoe dredger will reinforce ACP's dredging capability for planned works in the Gaillard Cut widening project.
