Marimatech Boosts sounder Memory

Danish survey and positioning systems specialist Marimatech has increased the data capacity of its widely used E-Sea Sound MP 35 series of dual channel echosounders with the addition of up to 8 GB storage via flash memory.
The company claims that the portable sounders are the only ones in the world to feature a PC-type colour screen and paper recorder as part of one unit. All three available systems can operate in both shallow and deepwater environments over depths typically down to 5,000m. Selectable frequency ranges extend from 12 to 250 kHz in increments of 1 kHz.
