In Singapore the former cutter suction dredger Oranje is being rebuilt and will appropriately renamed Phoenix.

Engineering and the delivery of drive systems, automation and cabling is being executed under the supervision of Bakker Sliedrecht. The company has developed a diesel-electric propulsion concept for two Swedish Coastguard patrol vessels being built by Damen Shipyards at Galati in Romania and will supply the electrical installation for two Jumbo Shipping heavy lift vessels being built at the same facility. Two survey vessels for the Port of Rotterdam will receive complete Bakker Sliedrecht electrical installations, including the Bakker BIMAC alarm monitoring and control system.
