Every Winch Way in the New Year

German winch manufacturer and deck equipment supplier HATLAPA enters the New Year with 30 large anchor handling and towing winches filling the order book. The largest of these is a 500 ton line pull triple drum waterfall winch.
The company, which was deeply involved in the evolution of Germany’s large offshore between the late 60s and early 80s, subsequently combined that tradition, experience and know how with research and development into modern design and production methods to equip tugs and merchant vessels.
HATLAPA’s unique 440 kW low pressure hydraulic motor suits a wide variety of customer needs for frequency controlled electric or high pressure hydraulic winches. Also to be found within the HATLAPA group is a range of deck equipment which includes capstans, windlasses, research and towing winches as well as compressors and steering gears.
