MST a Site to See at Seawork
01 Mar 2007
Marine Specialised Technology, the commercial rigid inflatable and high speed workboat builder, has had an unprecedented year of growth that has seen the manufacturing facility on the waters in Liverpool double in size and the employees grow to 18 people.
MST, as they are better known in the industry, is forging its way to becoming recognised as a major player in the commercial RIB and workboat market and their recent deliveries lay testament to this.
These include a number of twin inboard diesel 9m Airport Crash Rescue Tenders for a new state of the art airport rescue and command centre at a major European airport and a fleet of craft, including 10m twin inboard diesel jet enclosed wheelhouse craft, for a Coastguard in the Americas.
Smaller projects closer to home have included craft for military police, department of environment and national rescue services. New projects due for launch later this year include a new special operations navy vessel and the first two examples of MST’s 10 to 14m series destined for European pilotage duties.
MST’s three dimensional computer aided engineering department is the heart of the company’s dynamic and fresh thinking approach to delivering outstanding workboat solutions. Recently strengthened with an enlarged naval architecture facility, the company offers a diverse range of standard designs through to completely custom products ranging from 4.8m up to 19m.
MST will be exhibiting at Seawork 2007 in Southampton in June. The show is the company’s flagship UK exhibition and their stand inside is always impressive, with examples of their craft on display.
