The MacArtney Group has delivered six EdgeTech 4200-FS sidescan sonar systems in recent months.

Three complete 300/600kHz systems plus spares and one spare towfish was delivered to the Royal Danish Administration of Navigation and Hydrography.

The order also included three 300m tow cables.

One 4200 sidescan system was sold to Geoconsult A/S in Norway for ROV installation and another AUV type 4200 system was delivered to Noordhoek, Holland in connection with the purchase of two Focus-2 ROTV systems.

The final system was delivered to the Geological Survey of Ireland and included a Cormac Mk II stainless steel winch with tow cable.

Also new from MacArtney, it is now possible to interface the Seabat 7125 multibeam sonar via the Nexus multiplexer using the Gb-Ethernet interface. The new Nexus Mk IV and Mk V replaces the Nexus Mk I and Nexus 907 systems, adding high bandwith MB-sonar signals and interface for nine serial data channels and one standard 10/100 Base-T Ethernet. There are 16 digital I/Os, eight analogue inputs and two outputs. The Nexus Mk V will also interface three video channels and three extra serial channels.
