Partnership Approved for Coastal Defence Works

A joint venture between Westminster Dredging and Dean & Dyball Construction has secured a place on the UK Environment Agency’s National Contractors Framework 2 (NCF2) with regard to the development and construction of coastal defence schemes on a national basis.

The joint venture partners view the Environment Agency as a key strategic client, having carried out many successful projects for it in the past, including participation as consortium members in Pevensey Coastal Defence Limited on the current 25 year PFI/PPP project on the UK south coast.

Jaap Dekker, NCF2 framework manager said, ‘This is a special opportunity for the joint venture and one where we will provide the very best of our substantial resources and expertise in order to assist the Environment Agency if fulfilling its vision of creating a better environment in England and Wales for present and future generation.’
