‘Passenger Pollution’

‘Passenger Pollution’ at some European destinations has led
cruise ship operators to look for relatively ‘unknown’ ports where their
vessels can call. Delegates to a cruise workshop held by the EU ports network
project Port-Net were told of the
opportunities for ports to exploit the burgeoning market, with Europe the
fastest growing cruise destination in the world, if they can provide some
excursion services for passengers.
