Workboats are cool at Seawork 2008

With the launch of Blue Cool Select, Seawork exhibitor Webasto is the first manufacturer in the world to offer a marine air conditioning system that operates from a central cooling air supply.

This unique concept combines a central air cooling unit with separate blower outlets which enable different temperatures to be selected in individual cabins. The system is available in a wide range of outputs from 5,000 to 20,000 BTU (1.5 – 5.8 kW).

Webasto’s Blue Cool Classic Range provides an air conditioning solution for boats with one to three cabins, with cooling capacities from 1.5kW to 8.8kW, whilst for larger craft the Blue Cool Premium Chiller/Water range is ideal, providing hot weather comfort by combining a cooling unit with one or more fan type heat exchangers.

Capacities are from 3.5kW to 14.6kW, plus the convenience of reverse cycle heating if required. Larger units up to 150kW are available on request.

Webasto is a world leader in marine heating systems, thanks its diesel powered Airtop and Airtop Evo blown air and Thermotop water heaters, each designed for retro-fitting.

Also to be seen on Stand 40 at Seawork 2008, Webasto’s experience in sun roofs has been upgraded for the marine market, in the shape of the Hollandia Marine SR1 powered sun roof.
