New Survey Boat for Jan de Nul

Belgian dredging and marine engineering company Jan de Nul has taken delivery of 'DN 75',a new purpose built fast survey vessel currently in transit to Dubai, where it will be used to support a number of island construction projects.
'DN 75' will conduct seafloor surveys for the massive dredging projects underway in Dubai.

Built by No Limit Ships of Groningen in the Netherlands and designed for high speed surveys of seafloors with a minimum of staff, the compact 16.5m vessel can be readily transported around the world.

It is also suitably equipped to operate in all tropical conditions, say the builders. Onboard survey systems include a Kongsberg multibeam assembly supported by Reson narrow and single beam echosounders.

No Limit Ships adds that DN 75 is similar in design to others it has recently completed, including one which is presently in continuous use for echo sounding operations at the Port of Rotterdam.
