  • New AIS Pinpoints Irish Sea Navaids

    An innovative scheme funded by the European Union's Interreg IIIA programme to increase safety on the seas was launched last month in Larne, Northern Ireland. The Automatic Identification System will improve navigation capabilities for ships by automatically identifying other ships in the area, as well as buoys and lighthouses. 

  • CZ Buoyed by Trinity House Order

    Cookson & Zinn (CZ), the specialist tank and vessel manufacturers, have supplied 24 new buoys for a range of locations around the English and Welsh coast for Trinity House. 

  • Buoy Mounted AIS for Barcelona

    Tideland Signal Ltd has won the public tender to supply its Informer V03 AIS to Barcelona Port Authority for installation on four of the port's most important buoys in order to improve identification by mariners and to make it easier to service the equipment. 

  • Pharos Marine Riding the Wind

    Middlesex UK based Pharos Marine report further orders for the marking of offshore wind generators.
