The wind turbine projects are being provided with Pharos Marine’s yellow flashing navigation aids as well as fog horns and fog detectors (visibility) sensors.

Following the successful installations at Barrow, Burbo and Kentish Flats, Pharos Marine will now also supply Robin Rigg and Rhyl Flats with all equipment to meet the IALA Marking Schedule 0-117.

The marine lantern is Pharos Marine’s well proven FA-249 LED version, which provides a range five nautical miles. An LIEX-23 two nautical mile fog horn is activated by the Pharos Marine FD-310A fog detector.

Temporary self contained solar powered lights are used during installation and provide a range of two nautical miles.
