CEDA Dredging Days Call for Papers
01 Dec 2002
Working to the theme 'Specialist Dredging Techniques, Inspiring Dredging Solutions', CEDA is planning the conference as a venue for presenting a review of the latest specialised dredging techniques and innovative approaches to individual dredging operations. Papers are invited not only from the core business but also from those devising so-called 'niche' applications.
The aim is to share and discuss new ideas, initiating an exchange of experience and information regarding emerging technology.
English is the official language of the conference.
The Academic Hour returns to CEDA Dredging Days, providing an opportunity within the technical programme to support the industry's young professionals. University students, college students and young faculty are invited to submit abstract papers on any subject matter related to dredging.
Prospective authors are invited to submit titles and abstracts (maximum 300 words) to reach the CEDA office not later than 1 February 2003. It is preferable these be sent to CEDA via email ceda@dredging. org as RTF, PDF or plain text (ASCII) files. For hard copy submissions it is required that five copies be sent to CEDA, PO Box 488, 2600 AL Delft, The Netherlands.
The Technical Paper Committee will assess the abstracts. Authors will be informed not later than 1 March 2003 of acceptance and those selected will receive the Author's Kit containing instructions for preparation of the full manuscript.
