Refit Controls for Trinidad Coastguard

Regulateurs Europa, based in Colchester UK, has won a contract to supply a new control and monitoring system for the Trinidad and Tobago Coastguard.
The scope of the contract from Devonport Management Ltd calls for the patrol vessel Cascadura to be supplied with a new machinery control room desk, a Viking 22 propulsion control panel, a wheelhouse drop-in plate and open bridge plate.
The Viking 22 propulsion control panel replaces existing mechanical/hydraulic governors, providing far greater repeatability and accuracy of control. The Viking 22 provides digital governing for propulsion control as well as alarm and monitoring capabilities, including the starting and stopping of the prime mover and the clutch engagement.
