ISO 9001-2000 for ASRY Yard

Bahrain's ASRY Yard crowned a successful final quarter of 2001 by becoming the first shipyard in the world to be awarded the prestigious ISO 9001-2000 Certificate from the Norwegian society Det Norsk Veritas. The Certificate is in recognition of the Quality Management System in place at the Yard.

A&P Group have announced an agreement between A&P Shipcare at Chatham UK and Metalock Engineering (UK) Ltd, proposing an inter-company co-operation venture. The agreement formalises a working relationship of many years standing. Matalock regularly carries out work at all A&P locations and, like A&P, are ISO 9002 accredited.
